If the positions were opened with the intention of watching them, then you did the right thing. If the positions were opened with the intention of not watching them while you took off, then you did the right thing in hindsight.

In other words, don't change the reason you entered the trade after you entered it just because the circumstances of your life changed.

I have never found trades entered between 11 and 2 Eastern Time to be consistently more successful than trades entered before 11.

"Pretending" with money is not a good idea IMHO. <G>
