Oh, I don't think Bush could convince Greenspan that what he was planning was correct or prudent. When the two men came out of their meeting, Bush looked cockier than ever and Greenspan looked dazed. Just going by body language, Bush felt like he had got something out of the meeting. My question is what?

Don't know if you saw it, but Bush had his arm around Greenspan's shoulder, and was patting his arm, and kind of ushering him around.
