Dear Scumbria:
Gore got a complete count in Florida. What he was properly kept from getting was the result he wanted. He even got three different standards where, he should have only received the proper one (the 1990 Palm Beach Two Corner Rule). By that standard which is the only one that existed prior to the election, he still lost. By the rules prior to the election, Gore lost! By the rules as altered by Palm Beach, he lost. By the rules as altered by the FSC and in Broward, he lost.
All he was denied was a method of counting that pulls votes out of thin air by the hundreds. He wanted outright theft of the election, he was properly denied that.
BTW, why didn't California count even once the absentee ballots? How do we know this? Because they have not even counted the ballots, much less than, what is on them. With estimates of over a million, if they go 75% Bush, then Gore would even lose the popular vote as well. Go rag on California first, Scumbria, if you want to be at least consistent and fair. Before wanting recounts, you better get at least one true count in those other states first. Then you can talk about Florida with some appearence of fairness.
