Don't scare the poor guy. it takes a lot of time and you have to work hard -- I mean REALLY hard: 10-, 12-, 14-hrs/day kind of hard in the beginning, every day for 6-12 months before you can begin to get a useful and reliable perspective on the game. You give great advice, but just from a different perspective, 14 hrs a day at anything would drive me insane (short drive). JB - The mkt is open 6.5 hrs. I'd say spend the other hours maintaining a happy, peaceful, spiritual life. Look for your personality flaws as they appear in everyday life and realize their impact upon your trading. Success will come from inside of you. Best wishes.
