I see, once again, by your post and those of others, that Bush's defenders are reduced to hurling insults and that they continue to have a very difficult time accepting that opinions exist in this country which don't match their own.
Sorry, JLA, but I call 'em as I see 'em. And what I see is that, literally, Bush stole the election. My view is shared by nearly half the country, so don't be a bit surprised if Bush has a hard time governing.
Again, an oft repeated statement I made that fateful Saturday when the vote counting resumed was that if Bush won I could accept him as my president. However, he wimped to the U.S. high court and stopped outright 40,000 votes which had never been counted from being counted. No way ever, short of a Bush admission and an apology, will I view his presidency any different than the way I see it now. |
