Tim, Your logic is perfect except for the fact that the Government has to maintain a budget. The Reagan approach was to ignore the budget in deference to his philosophy, and we now pay $1 billion a day in interest on $5 trillion debt. BTW: If you lined up 5 trillion one dollar bills end to end, it would go around the earth 20,000 times. It would go to the moon and back 1000 times. It would go to the sun and back 5 times. That is how much money Reagan and Bush borrowed, to support their philosophy. Scumbria
