Smart to bail? No, just less dumb than buying.

I do think a lot of what's happening now has to be less related to retail tax selling than disappointment/confusion/disgust over management's handling of the on-again-off-again IPO. The whole adventure has been an unmitigated disaster: First the price tanks when the spin-off is announced; then, when only those who were more accepting of the idea were left, the company shivs them by claiming in a recent conference call it was forging ahead -- only to call it off a few weeks later.

It's going to take a long time and a lot of effort, or a clean sweep of these bozos, to restore SCAI management's credibility with institutions and funds. Especially now with the FD rules, the clarity and reliability of management forecasts for future quarters has assumed great importance.
