Relationship between American Express and Infospace should be strong but I don't see lots of evidence of that. For a bit of a refresher the reason the relationship should be strong is there is some head guy from AExpress on Infospace board and Aexpress owns a bunch of infospace because they were a big investor in PRIO prior to its sale to Infospace...here is what bothers me

1. The relationship with Prio and Aexpress started with a pilot project in San Fransico at eaterys but yet when I hit paperless promotions for San Fransico under chinese food you find no chinese places are signed up...I figure if thats where a pilot started well shit they should have plenty merchants signed up then

2. Some of you may have noticed that Aexpress has been advertising their shopping site on infospace so I figure perhaps infospace is powering their shopping site with active shopper but sure doesn't look that way...in fact the Aexpress shopping site is more advanced with custom features like ability to put in upc codes while active shopper is not...perhaps that is a new infospace product and it just doesn't say so but hard to know

the only evidence I could find that any of Aexpress site was related to infospace was thru a relationship Aexpress has with velcero.org that seems to be offering a licensed product of a store builder or at least they put infospace as a partner so that is what I assume

Infospace products may just be so embeded that it is hard to tell what they actually provide what should be a very strong customer like Aexpress....management should make easy or somehow clarify to investors what infospace provides companies like this so we might have a little more faith in this company especially when a certain visionary type keeps getting us in trouble
