I think the only E-tailers that will survive will be the extreme specialty shops.

For instance, let's say that you are in the market to buy a live black spitting cobra and want to shop prices. Where else can you do that but on-line (yes, believe it or not, there are several on-line purveyors of black spitting cobras)?

For stuff like books and records, I think it is a dud.
