Again, 7 Justices said the counting as ordered would be unfair. Boise/Gore plainly argued for even less fairness than the counting as ordered asked for.

My point is so "vaporous" that 7 USSC justices back it up.

Enjoy defending the constitutional atrocity Gore sought. 7, count 'em 7, justices back this up.

Now, we all know that by a 5-4 vote, it was decided not to go ahead and figure out a fair way to count and get that done. No disagreement there, OK? Of course, the Fla. legislature DID indeed seek to meet the date of the 12th, despite the falsehood told in the Mark Levine piece printed here earlier.

Loser Gore's words fly in the face of the reality of his actions, i.e.the unfairness he sought. He deserves all the discredit he may receive.
