chic - you give me too much credit. If I had bailed from the market when I first concluded it was bonkers in '99, I'd have missed about 80% of the gains! If I had bailed when I was convinced it was bonkers (Jan 00) I'd have missed 40%. So while I had "good sense" as you put it, I think my own self doubt played a big part. I'm glad I didn't believe myself back then. John.
