correct, no change to bias, but there is language in the statement indicating concern shifted from inflation to econ slowing. I was worried that these guys would be concerned with being perceived as having been wrong...looks like I was right.

They're saying now on CNBC that it was an actual change in the bias...from worrying about inflation to worrying about recession...that they skipped neutral. The way the guy, Hampton something, read the statement from the Feds, it did not sound like that at first but apparently there is a bias change.

I guess the markets were hoping/expecting a rate cut and tanked at first. But now seem to be making a recovery.
