No change in interest rates but we have an easing bias.

That is not a bad call, IMHO. Now we know they can ease anytime before the next meeting if it is deemed necessary.
I remember what happened a while ago when the did that exact thing. The market shot up in a big way.

Basically, FED is making it harder for short sellers in this market. Many are going to turn long is what I suspect will be happening.

The easing cycle is now beginning. The guys who made money shorting recently are not that stupid to "fight the FED".

BTW--Hampton Pearson shocked me with his statement only to realize he got it wrong. What a relief that was.
