Tony, RE: Inflation risk outside of energy? Yes. CPI ex food and energy reached a bottom inflection point in January of 1999, and is now increasing. This reverses the downward trend that has been in place since 1991. IMO, Greenspan isn't behind the curve. He is trying to prevent a repeat of the 70's.
