I was looking at the DELL advertisement in the Wall Street Journal today and it appears that DELL's pricing on P3 and Celeron systems is extremely aggressive. $499 for a 64M Celeron w/o monitor $899 for 866MHZ P3 w/0 monitor I suspect that DELL is taking a lot of Gateway and Compaq's consumer business this Christmas. Michael D. stated a few weeks ago that they had let their competitors off the mat and he was going to put them back down. Now is a good time to go after marketshare.
