dave..."carter administration...strong alternative energy research funding program...." and if the "alternative energy" was cost effective, it would have taken hold.... guess the "oil lords" kept prices low enough to prevent the "pro american" energy saviors from rescuing us... you think princeton plasma physics lab, or the thomas jefferson nuclear accelerator facility will ever create efficient and low cost energy.....been thirty years, still funded.... what's up with that?
