Tench, anyone with a "victory is guaranteed" outlook on AMD is a fool, and you know what they say about fools and their money ... Seriously though, I do think AMD is poised for a good 2001. I have sold most of my stock (much of it at a loss) but will probably try to pick up a thousand shares once my home purchase goes thru. I'm actually hoping the semis stay depressed for a few more months. My wish will likely come true. Regards, Dave ps - and I do agree with you that AMD's pricing strategy this year was ill-advised and could have been avoided to some extent. It will hurt both AMD and Intel for years to come, the bar for top-level processors is so low.
