It looks like they did, doesn't it?

Yes, it does. But who was it? Almost every "FED watcher" and analyst on CNBC said something like this: "The street expects a cut, but I don't see it happening yet." Evidently some did expect that cut. Evidently they traded on it...presumably by buying the financials yesterday. I guess this means they'll be hitting the financials tomorrow? Unless LEH conveniently upgrades Morgan Stanley.....again. ;)
