Intels ASPs have got to be in the dumper this Q...

Unfortunately it seems AMDs may be as well. As much as we put down analysts (and they often deserve it), it seems some of them that predicted softening demand and a price war were right. AMD at least has the advantage (if it can be called that) of lower epxectations with ASP. If things stay as they are AMD can meet its profit expectations (unless you are talking about Niceguy's expectations :) but Intel might not be able to. Not that Intel will lose money or even come close but their profit growth will probably not be good.

If the PC market turns around I think both stocks are bargins here (esp. AMD), but how long is it going to be until this happens?
