Fred, we think so much alike sometimes it scares me.<gg> Your so right it's the macroeconomic trends that will shape the future stock price of companies like Intel. It seems to me, allot of bears on this thread have had PC's for many years and don't fully appreciate the fact that throughout the world the home PC is still something of an oddity. Penetration rates of home PC's around the world and in some of the most heavily populated countries is rediculously small. When every major populated country on the planet has a penetration rate of 40-50% then maybe their scenerio's could be possible. We're just now barely reaching that in the U.S.
And who's to say with the net, and video phones, we can't support a much higher penetration rate. Dare I say, even, 70%
