No, you are not alone in your thinking. If you look at the research and development expense, you can see where they are putting profits. In fact, they spent .50 a share on r and d, which if you add that to earnings gives a profit. Company is making money as margins were 31%. The revenues are up significantly and will stay up and increase as the semi industry recovers to normal and even expands again. I am obviously long, but with around $4 a share in cash and a price to sales ratio of under 0.5, it is just a matter of time before the company starts to reap the benefits of all the research expense. The statements in the press release and made on the conference call were very bullish in nature. Especially when you consider the semi industry has slowed.
