Well it seems that the popular press is in agreement with most here that the fed screwed up big time...AGAIN (no they don't learn from past mistakes). Nearly every article I have read indicates that the fed see's high probability for a rapid slowdown ahead but they are not going to do anything about it until they are proven correct....and by the way that will be in 6 weeks or less. This is the same damn thing they did in 1998. How old are these guys that they can't remember 2 years back? Don't give me the "remember the 70's" montra either because the bastards said they will cut rates in 6 weeks anyway so they see no parallel whatsoever to that economy. What a great policy statement....you look sick but your not dead yet so I won't give you any medicine. Ya real fuc$$$$ smart. I just hope we see 2350 early in the day so it can bounce if possible.
