Actually, I'd like to debate it. What is a personal philosophy if it isn't examined? Goodness I hope I didn't come across as that serious - I'm not pious about my philosophy! And principle 6 covers that no model is perfect, but that isn't to say that one's model can be improved.

I'm fascinated by the fact that people of intelligence can come to entirely different conclusions, certainly about something as core to me as personal existence and the clear division between self and other. What better proof that there are truly different realities?

I understand that 1 and 2 are central. I agree we should start there. I certainly don't want to sound dismissive or preemptively discourage the questioning of my principles. That's why I posted them!

I do think you are right that my confusion stems from some kind of identity-crises. But it is not a confusion of me-with-senses or an overzealous love of logic, as you suggested before.

Excellent. Well I'm perhaps creating a false dilemma: this is not a 2 choice problem but higher order of choice. Can you tell me how you'd describe the nature of the confusion? Really, I can hardly wait!! ;)
