Investing always preceeds growth which preceeds profitability. That's economic. What I am trying to determine are trhe fundamental differentiators going forward which makes Verity one of the success stories in a growing crowded field. Many things are positive on the surface. However, we need input from those who work with these types of technologies to contribute. Whose functionality is satisfying most requirements going forward? Which architectures may not scale? Who has the best distribution/channels/support organizations? Who has the world class developers? How will the consolidation play out in "97/8? Many of these are somewhat subjective, but indicative of the nature of this high risk investment. If we're correct, the rewards could be exceptional...
