Well said. You can't maintain or gain marketshare from the gorilla unless you out-think it, quicker. Not to sound like my College Basketball Coach but "you gotta play to your strengths." SFAM isn't the "Shaq" of Semiconductor Equipment suppliers. So SFAM has to be agile, nimble, more focused and play smarter...hmmm, like "Kobe" perhaps. With its R&D is exclusively focused on CMP, SFAM has to use its ability to outflank AMAT with greater speed. If "Kobe keeps the score remotely close," IMHO SFAM shareholders will be well rewarded. Just goes to show you what happens when you are watching a basketball game and writing a post at the same time. ;o)
