Technical Analysis suggests that the downward channel was clearly broken and the trend is now up. This was reconfirmed when the stock took out the 50-day moving average on Friday at 39 1/16. Another confirmation of the bull move was the large move after the 39 1/16 breakthrough on very heavy volume. I look for another day or two of stuggling to break through 42, and then a run to the 48 - 50 level. Then again, it could be sooner, as small caps are starting to show some strength and VVUS has a monsterous short position which could lead to a quick run up from a squeeze. I was also very impressed with the way it traded in the morning on Friday when the Nasdaq Comp. was off 50 pts. The 50-day moving average (39) should serve as support now and I'll be a buyer again if it reaches that level. Good Luck!
