I think that a 50bp rate cut all at once would have been the oversteering that would put the car in the ditch and our heads through the windshield. As fun as manias are to play, I don't think that they are healthy for the market. I think that a bias to ease was the right thing today and I think we will see a 25bp cut before the next meeting. I would rather that AG started this action a few months ago, but I don't think that overdoing it now will make things better.
