A friend of mine remarked this evening, that if we believe that the seizing of the Presidency by the Supreme Count is a criminal act perhaps worse than the Dred Scott decision, then Americans across the nation should threaten massive Inauguration Day demonstrations. I completely agree, because if we just allow this to stand are not we all diminished?

I kept remembering the callers on my local SF Bay Area right wind radio talk shows saying things like, "Just in case Gore wins the recount, my friends and I are all digging up our weapons and getting them ready. We will never stand for this." Do you feel any less passionate about this than they do? Well, I'm not a gun guy but we need a national discussion on what would be an appropriate way to register massive dissent.

Ideas?
