prog - there are june options on SUNW, they are just very thinly traded. For example, the June 35 calls I used in my example are the CJTFG, which have been doing about 10 contracts a day on good days and have an open interest of 138 contracts. The July 35s (SUXGG), by comparison, are doing over 100 contracts a day and have 1129 open. I should have mentioned that in the real world, it is easy to move the option prices with a single order - it always amazes me when I'm working into a position and I can see the price move in response to little old me... so your suggestion of July calls is more practical.
