Yes. That is consistent with the bulk of my experience. There are data paths that are transcendent of the physical world and five senses plus reason and emotion. These go into a category that I have yet to explain but that isn't very surprising.

I think why we struggle so with these dualistic simplifications goes back to the fabric of reality. IT is dualistic, real/not real, consistent/inconsistent and the more we probe it with hubris, the more likely we get slapped back and are left thinking "That was odd!".

I'm a theater viewer(1) of a screen (2) but I enhance this metaphor with a causal chain that comes back to me (3). If I boo and jeer the "actors" on the screen or throw my soda all over the screen or use the game controller to whack one of them with my weapons or body parts, it has profound effects on "me" via principles 3 and 4. I've learned it is best to go with the flow and generally not boo and jeer but root for the good guys and jeer only the bad guys (4 & 5). I use the game controller to aid the course of the movie via principle 5, but am limited by principles 6 and 7.
