Mark, I think the shorts would look better than the longs in a room. First of all, most of the shorts are posting under their real names, or have e-mail addresses. This is an indication that the opinions they are expressing are genuine, and that they are not being paid to hype stocks. Second, they have been mostly correct in their predictions, so they should be an intelligent crowd. Third, they do not use foul language like the longs, especially like Mr. Emilio "see you at the finish line, JA JA JA" Machado, DDS, who insulted the shorts in Spanish with the worst obscenities in this thread for a long time, and finally exited, never to come back, when the stock went down to $12, stating "I was not cut (sic) with my pants down."
As for the longs, I would have to divide them into two groups:
1) The mentally retarded
2) The crooks.
