Here's my take on whether or not EFNT might issue an earnings warning:

I think the fact that EFNT has NOT pre-announced yet (either a positive or negative preannouncement) means:

1) THEY DO NOT ***YET*** KNOW HOW THE QUARTER IS GOING TO TURN OUT (Remember, this quarter will be back-end loaded like last quarter).

2) GIVEN THE FACT THAT WE ARE SO CLOSE TO THE QUARTER-END (7 business days left) and EFNT HAS NOT ISSUED A PRE-ANNOUNCEMENT, THEN THEY MUST BE SOMEWHERE CLOSE TO MEETING EXPECTATIONS--Perhaps 1 or 2 cents above or below expectations...

3) IF EARNINGS CURRENTLY APPEAR TO BE IN THE BALLPARK, IT DOES **NOT** WARRANT EITHER A POSITIVE OR A NEGATIVE PREANNOUNCMENT AT THIS TIME.

That might explain the silence on the preannouncement front.

Keep in mind that EFNT is NOT run by management like WSTL & CMTN who really were not ethical in their guidance to shareholders last quarter.

If EFNT is really having a problem this quarter, I would not expect them to wait until the earnings release to drop a bomb. This management team has more credibility than that.
