OT: The '70s. "Jane Pauley still looks pretty good to me." Man, you really have to have those eyes checked! Running for congress in one district does not qualify as running on a national ticket. While you are right that the first Biafran massacre -- well, that's not right either; I should have said "one of" them -- took place in the late '60s there was another in the '70s. The 'final solution,' as it were. I well recall sitting in Vonnegut's living room as he worked on another magazine piece about it. He was quite upset and feared no one would read, understand, or remember it. He was right.
