Protege, RE: "Predicting this volatile market". . . That is precisely why I have been saying that our smartest minds need to be focused on finding NEW indicators!

If you believe the market is moving on its own, and that increased volatility is making it too difficult to predict, then there are certainly indicators out there which are more sensitive to the volatility, which can be tracked and should teach us more about coming scenarios and moves.

And if you believe that these markets are manipulated and the volatility is there to maximize brokerage gains by forcing investors to turn over their holdings quicker, then there are STILL indicators out there which can likewise track this action. . . though admittedly it is more difficult to pinpoint. But the 4DML has proven useful in tracking the greed principal which has accompanied the manipulation. And in my estimate there are more such indicators which signal direction to come, especially ahead of big events like Fed meetings. We just need to find them and learn as much as we can from them, so that we get a better understanding of HOW the manipulation works the markets.

Either way, I believe there are many such solutions yet to be discovered. And that will be one of my focus areas to come soon. I cannot just sit back and take it, because it is "too difficult to figure out." Given enough time and energy, there is no problem too complex to solve.
