Along those same lines, we have had several of our posters here, who claim to have worked on helping to design artificial intelligence programs for the purpose of gathering opinions from message boards and combining all data gathered to build a general consensus of opinion in real-time. As fantastic as something like this sounds, one would expect that some political system would be the owner for the purpose of benefiting from "reading the public opinion".

But as it turned out, it was revealed that Merrill Lynch was the customer who had ordered this enormous software project. Now why would Merrill Lynch need to know what the public's opinions were by scanning thousands of message boards and through artificial intelligence models "reading" the boards to get a general consensus of opinion?

To play against it!!!

And that is why it was imperative that we go stealth with our discussions. . . and why the HOME thread will be moving soon.

But think about this for a minute. As soon as investors are saying "yes, I am bullish. . . we have hit bottom. . . I am buying here. . . .etc" . . . we get SLAMMED with selling. And when investors say, "I've had enough. . . I'm out. . .I'm selling. . . .I'm turning bearish and shorting the market here. . . . " . . . .the market turns and runs up 300 points faster than you can catch.

Now, if this system exists, as some of our posters have said, then we are talking Real-Time Market Consensus. What a powerful weapon to use to strip the Individual Investor of every nickle! Pretty amazing.

Why does this not surprise me?
