I don't know how Cosmic models it- for sure.
But as I understand me, I am the sum of conscious and unconscious- because I KNOW my unconscious is there, and it is affecting- and even if I didn't know it was there, it would still affect me- it may even be the most important affect- I may be mostly a sum total of unconscious mechanistic influences- but I still know what is me, what is coming from inside, and what is not me. Although ALL of the not me- affects the me. So if you want to call every ripple of wind that lifts your hair and causes a thought in you, you, then everything is you. But unless you are going to that argument- it seems pretty clear what is outside and inside, although we may never be able to be conscious of how to divvy up the sum affects of conscious and unconscious.
