The baby boomer retirement stock market boost theory is a SHAM.

So if they decided to spend more money on saving for retirements instead of spending, well, that's just going to knock out this whole consumer led expansion we've seen over the past several years. Corporate profits will suffer when the baby boomer spending habits have to be curtailed to ready themselves for retirement, its obvious. This will have a ripple effect going from retailers to manufacturers to business to business companies. And the state of social security will be pathetic when the baby boomers retire.

Ahh, but all is well, more people will be putting money into their stock accounts right?
