If you wanna use an "atrocity benchmark" to sort out the peoples who deserve "statehood" then I'm afraid you're not gonna end up with that much.... It's quite possible that the shooting of that young Palestinian was plain manipulation --just as the assassination of PM Yitzakh Rabin was plotted by Likud hawks.

And do you think that Western generals and jackboot pols would recoil from using their own children --I mean, their peoples' children of course-- if they didn't have the technology to replace hundreds of battalions with computer gear, nuclear missiles, and "smart" bombs? After all, most American GIs who landed in Europe in 1944 were only 17 years old --same thing with thousands of Wehrmacht soldiers....
