After all our anguish, the only bill making it out of Congress was the attachment to the Justice, State, etc. appropriations bill that codified offtrack internet betting. And this was added by Kentucky's two Republican senators and a Republican rep. So this Congress actually expanded internet gambling.

In light of this giant loophole, a future ban on other forms of internet gambling will be laughable and impossible to pass.
