Excuse me... Are you saying that Belgium, France, Netherlands, Poland, and European nations OTHER than Nazi Germany, had their own versions of concentration camps and Zyklon-B? Or did they merely facilitate the Nazis in their genocide of the Jews?
It seems to me that while there has ALWAYS been considerable anti-semitism in Europe, it was Nazi Germany that physically manifested that prejudice in the form of death camps.
And you can see what the US and UK did to Nazi Germany....
And had it not been for the Soviet Union as the new threat, we would have turned Germany into a big vast agricultural colony, forever denying them the ability to build an industry capable of unleashing another world war. Henry Morgenthau advocated just such a position, until events forced the creation of the Marshall Plan.
Again, the Palestinian and Arab extremists have a fondness for suicide and human sacrifice. Their people seem to approve and applaud these methods as acceptable.
Well, that's fine for them, but since they don't share my values or my perception of how humans should deal with one another, I naturally gravitate to the Israeli case.
This despite the fact that they bombed the USS Liberty in 1967.
As the only democracy in the middle east worthy of the name, I certainly have more at stake in their success than with dictatorial or monarchial regimes.
Democracies seldom do battle with other democracies... because inherently people are people and they just want to get along and live their lives, not kill one another.
