Hi Ken,

You're right that's his job. He just blew it. McNealy himself warned the Fed last May that they needed to be careful about interest rates lest they "kill the goose that laid the golden egg". Scott was right.

I disagree with you about tax cuts. Right now we need stimulation. We need BOTH lowered interest rates and a tax cut. Consumer confidence and consumer spending is in a downward trend and it has to be reversed. Whatever happened to that old rule-of-thumb economists in the 60's used "a little inflation is good".

Frank is Frank Ellis Morris. He predicted this debacle would happen over 9 months ago and has been railing against Greenspan ever since.
