Ish, or anyone with experience on invisible fences for our dog friends. An invisible fence is a wire buried just underground which emits a constant signal. The dog in question wears a collar with a receiver that at a certain distance from said wire beeps or if the dog in question gets too close it will mildly zap said dog. There's another kind that doesn't involve wires that emits a signal from a transmitter which covers a certain radius (about 90 feet)from said transmitter. If the dog in question goes out of said radius the collar behaves essentially as above. I'm thinking about getting one of the wire kind because a 180 foot diameter area is too small. And they are way cheaper in capital and labor than a visible fence. How well do they work? Anybody know?
