Sen. McCain almost won the Repub. primary running head first on one issue- campaign finance reform. I agree corporate money needs to be taken out, but I worry that Washington will become to isolated if voices are not heard. I originally thought we needed to reform media bias, but after traveling to mainland China, I know realize they need their own agenda. I just can't bring myself to seperate the media from corporate interest. When you go on the web to read the news, the content is so much more cutting edge than what you see on television. I just don't think America is ready to realize the issues that are plauging this country. They'd rather concentrate on issues where the government should have no voice, like gay marriages and abortion. People worry about their neighbors for all the wrong reasons like if they smoke pot and not if they are having problems making ends meet. Too much superficial nonsense and not enough substance.
