Hair analysis is considered unreliable and erratic by clinicians. Several chemical substances are poorly deposited into hair, and even then, there is a substantial time lag (days to weeks) for deposition from blood/plasma into growing hair. In actuality, blood specimen is the "gold standard" but urine is next best thing. Indeed, sports organizations (e.g., NCAA, USOC, pro sports, etc.) all use urine only testing. (I co-athor a book for the NCAA and USOC on this subject). Hair would never be considered as a timely or definitive testing option. My advice to CMTR would be to promote this product availability on the Internet (with online purchase opportunity).
