By the way, I'm seeing a few stocks start to perk up a bit near the end of the day today. It might be an exceptionally long time before the market goes anywhere near 3000 again, but I'm not sure I'd want to be short at these levels either.

You'll need to be a nimble and lucky trader to make money going short at these levels. A snap back rally will be hard on the shorts when it does happen, and it should happen relatively soon. IMO

Wild guess - Nasdaq bottoms at 2200 tomorrow and then rallys back to 2750 over the next 4 weeks. Just a wild guess.
