I thought Casino was better than Goodfellows. I really like Raging Bull and, of course, Taxi Driver. New York, New York was a mess, and he blew The Last Temptation of Christ big time. One his best films is Mean Streets, with Harvey Keitel and DeNiro, set in Little Italy, about a morally troubled mobster being groomed to take over. The controversy over Hudsucker leads me to take a wait and see attitude. I think Blockbusters vary some, but you are right, they frequently miss a lot.I like Chaplin too. I have been meaning to see Chicken Run. Let me know!
