Beware the pundits!

As the Naz plummets closer and closer to 2194 (its value at the close of 1998) you'll most likely see a lot in the media about how the Naz has given up virtually all of its gains of the 15 months beginning in 1999.

But we don't invest in the Naz. Most of us don't even invest in QQQ, the 100 largest non-financial stocks on the Naz. Instead, we invest only in carefully selected stocks.

My hunch is that a lot of the people who have been Gorilla Gaming for a couple of years and/or have maybe been investing for five to ten years have a vastly different story to tell. Instead of talking about how all of their gains of last year were eroded this year, my hunch is that many of those portfolios are still twice the value (or more) than its value at the beginning of 1999. Mine is and I can't believe that's a rarity in this thread.
