Msft's ability to get articles like this into circulation is why they must always be reckoned with. (They keep throwing stuff out onto the back porch--at some point the cat may lick it up). However, the article misses Palm's strength in the enterprise area. Your later post notes the alliance with IBM. And of course IBM controls Lotus Notes. There is no reason that I know of that Notes-using enterprises would prefer PocketPC's to Palm.

Coincidentally, btw, the Federal Reserve Bank of New York has just standardized on Palm for their examiners. Not a public company, but pretty close to "enterprise scale" I'd say.
