With respect to the nice move of the last few days, I heard a rumor (underscore rumor) from a broker who I have neither a past, current or future relationship.

According to this guy, Mallinckrodt, a company with a long working relationship with IMMU, offered Dr. Goldenberg $16 a share for IMMU last year this time when shares were trading in the $12-$13 range. Goldenberg turned down the offer at that time.

According to this "rumor", Mallinckrodt has again made an offer of $12-$14 per share to purchase all of Immunomedics except a small research division which Goldenberg would keep. Again, according to this broker, assumming final details can be ironed out, the offer will be made public no later than 6/15/97.

The above should be viewed with great care. It may be true or it may be just some all to frequent broker BS.

But to add a little spice, all of which is true (look it up yourselves), Mallinckrodt (MKG) just sold its veterinary unit for $405 million two weeks ago. Immunomedics has approximately 36 million shares outstanding. $405 million divided by 36 million shares equals $11.25 per share!!! BINGO

Regards
Dave
