Didn't Cube say to expect 35% market share? Are they taking any share away from ZRAN? DVD sales #s have been phenomenal so far. Also they seem to be having manufacturing problems everywhere. That may be a reason why Cube is able to gain marketshare. You may be correct in assuming that VCD may be stronger for Cube. Another interesting point. ZRAN seem to be saying the same thing that Cube said. 2nd half stronger and unrevised estimate guidance for 2001. Here is from the Yahoo thread: the Chinese domestic market (slow to switch to DVD), a manufacturing problem with the new companion CPU vaddis chip, and a continuing problem with digital camera chip production
